"You Promised to Forget Me" is a collection of works made in reaction to the death of the artist's father. Included are a collection of 15 Silver Gelatin Prints of varying sizes entitled "Forgotten in Time", a clear double sided record entitled "I'm Here and You're Not" (Side A: "What Remains", Side B: "We Remember"), and a collection of the music shared between the artist and her father throughout her childhood. Viewers were encouraged to utilize the provided headphones and join in a moment of grief as they listen to the record and view the images that juxtaposed  life before and the disarray of the home after.
This work served as a reminder of the artist's "25 year plan", in which she had detailed the expectancy of time left with her father's family in both their physical presence and mental competence. The disruption of this timeline with his sudden death is prudent in these works, as she attempted to piece together what is left to recreate a composite of a person most loved while managing the new fear of not having enough time with those that remain.
